Education Law
I am a qualified teacher with QTS. I have taught in schools (U.K. & Abroad), sixth forms and colleges. I have worked with children in SEN and CAMHS. Furthermore, I have lectured at university level and undertaken some exam marking. I have 15 years of experience in education and fully understand my clients needs. I have extensive experience in dealing with parents and pupil matters concerning the SEND Tribunal and EHCP issues, including but not limited to university student terminations/investigations and more.

Entertainment law (Film)
I have worked as a journalist for various platforms such as BBC Radio Nottingham, Millside Radio and also a documentary filmmaker/film director for Haresh Sood Films. As a result, I have extensive experience in film law such as contract, consent, and copyright. I strive to assist independent filmmakers with shoe string budgets to ensure they get the best out of their funding by ensuring they do not breach any laws. I also certain areas of media law, such as defamation.

Employment law
I have extensive employment law experience for over 20 years which I have acquired through a personal employment experience that led me to specialise in this area. This helped me understand my clients. I can deal with (including but not limited to) discrimination, dismissals, redundancies and appeals to the EAT and COA. I have particular experience in dealing with employment law issues teachers face as I have worked as a teacher and fully understand the ethos and set up of educational establishments and unions etc. I am also experienced in representing medical professionals and police staff.

Expenses/Legal Costs & mixed civil
I have wide experience in drafting and defending costs applications and advising on overbilling by solicitors. I have dealt with matters of this nature at the SCCO ensuring clients are not a victim to excessive billing. I can also advise on various civil matters. However, please note, if they are areas I no longer deal with, I will refer you to someone who does.

Professional Discipline (Regulatory Law)
Over the years, I have advised and represented various professionals on professional disciplinary matter's such as medical doctors on GMC matters, before the MPTS, teachers before the TRA, accountants concerning IFA, right through to driving instructors concerning the DVLA and more.
